One of the best parts about an All-Inclusive Vacation is the fact that once you're there, you won't need to spend another penny except for personal items, such as the gift shop, spa, etc. All resorts accept credit cards for these charges. Should you decide to visit some of the local attractions or take advantage of some of the outstanding bargains, you will need some cash. Most merchants will accept US dollars or traveler's checks, as well as major credit cards, but cash will be necessary for cabs, refreshments, arts and crafts market purchases, etc.
All departing guests are required to pay a departure tax upon leaving the country. In some cases, the departure tax is already included in your airline ticket such as with Jamaica. Please inquire if unsure.
Every room is equipped with a safe deposit box. We advise all guests to store their jewelry, cash and other valuables including airline tickets and passports in this secure place. The hotel cannot be responsible for lost items. You are in casual, Caribbean resorts. Fancy jewelry is not necessary and should be left home.
A registered nurse with regular office hours is on the property. In the event of an emergency, a medical doctor is on call 24 hours a day.

If you are a golf fanatic, you may want to bring your own clubs. Otherwise you can rent them for a reasonable charge but bring your own balls and tees to save money. Tennis racquets and balls are provided, but if you play best with your own, bring it. Also, be aware of extra charges on the airlines for you golf clubs...renting clubs may offset the cost.
Tipping at Sandals is simply not permitted at the hotels unless you have Butler Service. The butlers are allowed to receive tips based on the service provided as this is above and beyond normal resort inclusions. The amount of tip should be based on the amount of service provided.
